The Basic Steps and Materials when Creating a Scrapbook

Scrapbooking is a good way to preserve our treasured memories. It’s really not that hard to create a scrapbook of your own. You just need to have the needed materials and put some artistic touch to create a wonderful and eye catchy scrapbook that you can share to your family and friends.

Here are the basic materials that you’ll need in creating a scrapbook:

• The Scrapbook- you can buy or create your own
• Photos, print media, or anything you want to out inside your scrapbook
• Colored pens- you can use colored pens when adding texts and captions to your photographs (any color of your choice)
• Glue- used for sticking embellishments
• Scissors- used for cutting
• Decorations- used for designing a scrapbook
• Plastic cover- used to protect the scrapbook from any harmful substances

Now that you already have the materials you’ll need here’s the basic steps in creating a simple scrapbook:

• Create a scrapbook or buy one in s scrapbooking store
• Gather all the photos you want to include in your scrapbook
• Cut the edges of the photos for it to fit in your scrapbook if in case the photos occupies a big portion in your scrapbook
• Arrange the photos: In arranging the photos for your scrapbook it is best if you arrange them collectively. For example you want to create a page for your birthday then don’t include a photo from Christmas in the photos for your birthday page.
• After arranging the photos, now it’s time to stick them in your scrapbooking pages
• Then you may now decorate your scrapbook, add texts and caption in the photos in your scrapbook.
• And the last and the very important part when creating a scrapbook is protecting it. It’s time to cover your scrapbook with a plastic cover.
